Wet weather puts a damper on the Miniroos season kickoff

A great week of training for our keen young players all came to naught when the rain came hammering down last Thursday night and just didn’t stop.

Our new whatsapp hierarchy worked a treat though and wet weather messages got the message out with a minimum of fuss. Thanks to Kym Gilham for all his hard work on the setup.

We go again this week, and can’t wait to see all our young-uns out there. With 41 teams and 385 players it’s another bumper year of miniroos and the logistical organising to get on the park is huge. Thanks to Sim for coordinating the registrations and team allocations, Dani for the shirt coordination and Benny for corralling the coaching side of things. Can’t wait to see them all on the park next weekend.
