2024 Byron Bay FC YOUTH TEAMS
Byron Bay FC provides opportunities for players who wish to extend their football to the highest level as well as social players just wanting to play with mates. Our mixed comp division one teams aim to provide professional level coaching for players motivated to play at the highest level they can. It provides a developmental pathway not only to the club’s Summer Youth League and senior teams, but also to NPL and beyond.
Junior competitions starts end of April to early September with the potential for additional tournaments where the opportunity arises (NNSW Champions of Champions tournament, Gold Coast Champions Cup). ANZAC Cup (for U16s).
Division 1 squads:
Train twice a week with additional specialty position training (goalkeeping,)
Play in Football Far North Coast’s Division 1 age competitions.
Matches are generally on Saturdays
Coached by some of the best youth coaches in the region
2024 Initial Training* & Team trial dates and times as follows;
Grade 12-16’s initial training - Tuesday 13th & 15th Feb 4:30pm-6:00pm
Venue Cavanbah Centre - Coaches Guido, Thiago and George.
Girls teams 12-16’s - initial training Wednesday 14th Feb 4:30-6:00pm
Venue Cavanbah Centre. Coaches: 12’s Jason, 13’s Pete, 14’s Ian, 15’s Violet, 16’s Tom.
*From 19 March training will continue at the Rec Grounds.
** From 2nd April all Youth training will train at Rec Grounds. (Cavanbah may be used on Tuesdays at coach’s discretion players will be given notice if Cavanbah to used)
Player Registration:
All school aged players are eligible for a NSW government active kids voucher. To claim the kids voucher click on the link and enter the voucher details into the playfootball registration payment section to redeem the value.
