Premier Football Kicking off
next week

Some exciting developments in the off season on the back of a hugely successful 2025 for our premier mens and womens squads. Both squads will be participating in the Northern NSW Football regional premier leagues competitions in addition to the regular FFNC season competitions. Ben Ahern and James Gill are back for 2026 to guide both squads for the season and keen to rip in. Trials and trainings to commence next week at the Rec grounds in town.

Mens Premier and Championship

– Tuesday 13th from 6:30pm 

Womens Premier

– Wednesday 14th from 5:30pm 

Seniors, Youth, SAP and Miniroos kickoffs

Open Mens Senior Divisions

– Wednesday 4th February from 7pm

Youth Teams 12-16s

  • Grade 12 Mixed - Tuesdays from 10th Feb 5:00pm-6:15pm

  • Grade 13 Mixed - Thursdays from 12th Feb 5:00pm-6:15pm

  • Grade 14,15,16 Mixed – Thursdays from 19th Feb 5:00pm-6:15pm

  • Girls 12, 13s – Wednesdays from 18th Feb 5:00pm to 6:15

  • Girls 14-16 – Wednesdays from 18th Feb 5:00pm to 6:15

Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) 8-11s

  • 8s & 9s – Tuesdays from 10th Feb 4pm-5pm 

  • 10s & 11s - Thursdays from 12th Feb 4pm-5pm

  • Girls 9 to 12 - Wednesdays from 11th Feb 4pm-5pm

Miniroos 5-11s

  • Playfootball Registrations - Open 1st of February to 13th March

  • 13th March : Team allocation by Miniroos committee

  • 21st March : Muster Day  

  • 30th March onwards - Training commences (no training in holidays)

  • School holiday clinics – 7th, 9th, 14th & 16th April 9am-12pm

  • Club game day – Sunday 26th April  

  • 2nd May : 1st Game day - Miniroos Gameday draws


Volunteers needed!

With over 750 players and 80+ volunteers helping to run our club there are a few really important roles still to be filled. These are critical to the functioning of our club and take the load off other volunteers. If you think you can help please contact us through volunteers@byronbayfc.com.au

  • Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) – ensures compliance with WWC regulations 

  • Gear stewards (youth and senior teams) – supports the youth and senior coordinators with allocation of gear and playing strips

  • Goalpost and net maintenance – ensuring our playing gear stays in tip-top order

Summer 6s Round-up

Another fun season of summer 6s concluded in December with a record 670 players and 76 teams playing across 3 nights. Thanks to all players, referees and supporters for keeping the football in the spirit it was intended, a fun social league to wind down from the regular season. Final placings for the competitive leagues is below;

Mens

  • Competitive – Ping FC

  • Social A Grade – Handsome Budgies

  • Social B Grade – Expected Toulouse

Womens

  • A grade – Latin Heat

  • B Grade – Grass Stains

  • C Grade – Usually on Oranges

Youth 

  • A grade – Nutmeg Ninjas & Grit FC (tied on points and goal difference)

  • B Grade - Cookerdiles
