Women’s Premier Division
Byron Bay FC have a proud history in women’s football with the women’s program being the first team in the club to win a major Football Far North Coast title.
The team, known as the Wildcats, have caused plenty of cupsets over the years - especially so when they won the region’s cup competition, the Callan McMillan Shield, three times in the 2000’s.
After some time in the Second Division, the Wildcats returned to the Premier Division in 2016 and made it all the way the Grand Final two seasons later, pushing the highly fancied Lismore Thistles to extra time before falling to a 2-1 defeat.
If you would like to trial for a position in the club’s Premier Division squad, please contact us. Typically, pre-season training starts in February, Callan McMillan Shield starts in March and the regular season begins in April.
