Heading into the Grand Final as minor premiership winners the girls did it the hard way, losing out in the semi-final to Tintenbar in a penalty shoot-out then having to defeat Lismore Workers to make it Oakes Oval for the third year running.
Meeting up with rivals Tintenbar again in the grand final the game promised to be the usual tight affair. Steve gave the girls well prepared, upping the training in the run-in to the grand final. IN a tight game the sides couldn't be separated until a penalty was awarded to Byron for a hand ball in the box. Tiana stepped up and made no mistake, slotting home to give the girls the win and the major premiership.
Another great season from a dedicated and commited bunch of players.
