Byron Bay FC have had a successful tournament at the Northern NSW Champions of Champions tournament with two podium finishes in an impressive club performance.

Played every year at the Coffs International Stadium, the tournament sees every regional champion in Northern NSW invited to compete in a three-day tournament in Coffs Harbour for the title of best team in the federation.

Two teams from Byron Bay FC’s High Performance Program represented the Far North Coast in the U12 and U14 boys with both teams finishing in the top three.

The U12 Boys played an incredible tournament as they finished runners-up. Losing to only one team during the entire tournament, the team scored 22 goals in only seven matches but lost to Kahibah FC from the Newcastle competition 2-0 in the final.

The U14 boys finished in third position with only a single loss against eventual champions Morisset Strikers from the Newcastle competition. It was an impressive performance from an under-strength outfit who fought against the odds and claimed memorable victories against strong opposition.

This tournament marks the end of the first ever season of Byron Bay FC's High Performance Program which saw the club win an incredible six trophies. Players and coaches interested in next year's High Performance Program can register right here.
