Byron Bay crowned FFNC Club Champions

A very impressive 2019 season has seen Byron Bay FC crowned Football Far North Coast Club Champions at the FFNC Presentation Night on Saturday.

The Club Championship was only one of the many honours won by Byron Bay this season with a number of club, team and individual award winners on the night.

Men’s Premier Division coach Damon Bell won his second Coach of the Year award while striker Lisandro Luaces won the league’s Golden Boot.

Luaces, James Tomlinson, Pierce Essery and Diego Vazquez was all named in the Men’s Team of the Year while Violet Innes and Maddie Green were named in the Women’s Team of the Year.

In other divisions, the Men’s 6th Division won the Fair Play Award after going a full season without receiving a yellow card.
