Sam Shepherd and Griffin Bambach rubbing shoulders with John Aloisi

Byron Bay FC's Sam Shepherd and Griffin Bambach were lucky enough to rub shoulders with a national hero last week in Lismore. John Aloisi, former Socceroo and current Melbourne Heart coach, was on hand to give the boys some tips on what it takes to play football at the top level. Timely advice for the boys as they both head to the FFA national championships in Coffs Harbour next month. Griffin and Sam have both been selected in the NNSW Country boys state team along with a number of their talented team mates from the FFNC grade 13 representative team. As well as meeting with Aloisi the boys attended a Q & A session with current A-League players from the Melbourne Heart and Western Wanderers. Griffin and Byron Bay FC club teammate Savannah Boller also lucked out with some expert coaching from the Melbourne Heart Goalkeeping Coach.
